Dr. Brenda Hayes specializes in coaching to facilitate the effective management of change. Her personal coaching focuses on managing life challenges one-to-one, while organizational coaching centers on promoting improved workplace moral, productivity, and leadership development.
Dr. Hayes has over 40 years of experience working with individuals, families, mental health professionals, schools, businesses and community organizations. In 2006, following a successful career in counseling and consulting in Philadelphia, she returned to her family farm in Brocton, NY. In 2007 she opened her Personal Coaching practice in Fredonia, NY.
Brenda has conducted hundreds of seminars and workshops across the country, promoting positive health and wellness through improved communication, personal empowerment, conflict resolution and effective decision-making. She holds a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Ph.D. in Human Development from Virginia Tech.
She has two grown children and three grandchildren, and made her return to Western New York to give back to the community which gave so much to her.
Brenda graduated from Brocton Central School in 1967, is a recipient of the BCS “Hall of Fame” award, and currently serves on the Alumni Association Board.
She is a member of the Fredonia Rotary Club and received the distinguished Paul Harris Fellowship award for her ongoing work with the international student exchange program. The Dunkirk-Fredonia chapter of the American Association of University Woman selected Dr. Hayes as the recipient of their Emerging Leader award in 2009. Brenda is also a member of of the League of Women Voters and the Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce, and sits on the Westfield Memorial Hospital Foundation Board.
